Caitlin Lafferty joined CBHDA in April 2023 as the Communications Manager after working independently as a Freelance Writer and Content Strategist. She also has previous experience working in the nonprofit sector where she provided advocacy services to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking.

She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Sociology and focused her research efforts on harm reduction and the decriminalization of drug use.
